List of all Samsung phones Getting Android Nougat - If you are have the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edges Smartphone , make sure you have pending wireless updates. Samsung has already launched Android 7.0 Nougat for the Galaxy S7 series in several markets and will be available soon if it is not already available. As expected, however, this year's Galaxy S7 is not the only Samsung phone that runs Nogart. Samsung has identified a number of Android devices that are supposed to receive updates in the coming months.
According to Samsung's official announcement on Samsung Galaxy S7's Nougat update, Samsung phone plans to expand Android 7.0 Nugget to the following countries in the first half of this year, including :
- Galaxy S6,
- Galaxy S6 Edge, and S6 Edge Plus .
- Galaxy Note 5,
- Galaxy Tab A and S Pen,
- Galaxy Tab S2 (unlocked LTE),
- Galaxy A3, Galaxy A.
"But do not get too excited yet, this is Samsung and it is not known to announce a quick Android upgrade. It is not even a flagship handset. If you own an older device that is not mentioned above, it's likely that you will not see the Nougat release at all.
In other words, Samsung's announcement includes details about the new Galactic functions available on the Galaxy S7. Samsung highlights new features such as new Quick Panel and notification, improved multi-window functionality, Samsung Pass and Performance Mode.
The performance mode sounds very similar to the Galaxy S8's popular "Beast Mode" and is intended to allow users to optimize their phone to meet their requirements in specific use cases. Performance modes include optimization mode, game mode, entertainment mode, and high performance mode.
