Bose SoundLink Wireless Mobile Speaker Reset
I have a Bose SoundLink wireless mobile speaker and I'm having trouble connecting to a previously paired device or connecting to a SoundLink speaker.
Follow the steps below to reset the speakers.
Press and hold the mute button on the speakers for 10 to 12 seconds or until the LED light is blinking
Your speakers should now be turned off. Now press the power button to turn on the speakers again.
Now connect your Bluetooth device to Bose SoundLink wireless speakers.

If the steps above are included in the user manual of the product, but the audio quality is poor, the steps are listed under the Troubleshooting section.
If you tried the steps above but the Bluetooth device still can not connect to the Bose SoundLink speakers - you need to clear the Bluetooth pairing setting on the device you want to pair the two devices with. For example, if you can not pair a speaker with iPhone, you need to delete the pairing item from iPhone and reconnect the speaker to iPhone.
The specific steps to remove or unpair a device from the number of Bluetooth enabled devices are beyond the scope of this document.
When the battery light on the Bose SoundLink wireless mobile speaker flashes red, it usually means that the battery is less than 20% charged or the speaker battery is in battery protection mode.
Battery protection mode
Bose Soundlink Speaker enters battery protection mode after 24 days if the device is not used or charged for this period.
To resolve these two issues, you must connect the Bose SoundLink speakers to the AC adapter and continue charging for at least four hours before using the speakers.
In some cases, however, the SoundLink battery is faulty or has reached its end of life and must be replaced. If you have tried the above tips multiple times, you can contact Bose Technical Support for further assistance.
