Google Translate - For Mobile users, tablet PC or other Android-based smartphone, there is information that is encouraging. Since a few days yesterday, Google is updating its language translation application Google Translate so that can work offline (without internet connection), naturally with the support of up to 50 languages.

Support for offline appears since version 1.6 (update 27 March 2013), and the offline feature requires at least Android 2.3 (certainly the version above is also supported). Even though the application itself could start running Android version 2.1, but special features translations of offline and also translations by view camera (camera input) just started the Android 2.3.
To download additional languages (other than the United Kingdom), please open a Google Translate and from the Menu select Offline Languages, then from there we can choose what language we want. Before you start to download an extra language, there is a confirmation of whether the download will only be done if there is a WiFi connection only. Of course we recommend that this option is selected, because the language just download 1, its size is already quite large.
Google translate can translate languages we use for offline. And as already stated by Google itself, the result of an offline version of the translation is not as complete or as good as covering, while using the online version, but is suitable when used to translate the language of a relatively lightweight. Despite that, with the support of offline it certainly will be more rewarding, given its accuracy still seems better than other translation application.
Apps Google Translate can be downloaded at Play Store for Android-based phone and at the Apple Store for iOs. Hopefully this new feature can help you communicate and find the information you need, wherever and whenever you need it.
